A short repair list is easier to deal with when each item describes a symptom: the door rubs at the top, the drawer catches halfway, or the chair moves at one joint.
Doors and drawers
Note where the movement stops or rubs. Take a photo of the hinges, runners and the surrounding frame. Avoid forcing a stuck part; damage can make a simple adjustment harder.
Furniture and woodwork
For a loose chair or table, stop using it until the joint is assessed. Photograph the whole piece and the connection that moves. A loose fastener and a failed glued joint need different repairs. See furniture repair.
Fence and gate hardware
Show the gate in its opening and the hinge, latch and post. If the post moves or the timber is soft, a hardware adjustment may not solve the underlying problem. See minor fence and gate repairs.
