Dragging gates and hardware
Show the hinges, latch, gaps and the bottom of the gate. A short video of how it moves is helpful.
Damaged boards and wood details
Include nearby boards, fasteners and posts. The condition of the surrounding structure affects whether a localized repair is worthwhile.
Agree on the limits
A moving post or deteriorated frame is different from a small hardware repair. Structural rebuilding or work outside my scope needs the appropriate specialist.
