A surface repair does not explain the cause
Crack width, movement, changes in height, drainage and the surrounding concrete all matter. Covering or filling a crack does not by itself establish that the underlying issue has been resolved.
What to document
Take a wider photo showing the location and close-ups with a ruler for scale, without putting yourself at risk. Note whether the crack has changed or creates a trip edge. These observations can help a qualified concrete professional assess it.
